
As I said in the last post the KNIGHTS TEMPLARS were offered beautiful quarters by King Baldwin but said since they were POOR knights there to defend the travelers on their holy mission to go the Holy Lands, that KING SOLOMON'S HORSE STABLES would be just fine.
So they set themselves up in the stables and when weren't protecting the travelers they would be DIGGING all throughout the stables area. They always stationed a guard outside to keep nosy people from going into the stables.
Remember when my ancestor HUGH DE PAYENS was studying with his abbot teacher back in France he discovered something in one of ancient scrolls in the palace that definitely caught his attention?
