The Knights Templars and The Moslems

When the Knights Templars had gotten established as the protectors of the wealthy Europeans making their pilgrimage to the Holy Lands, they actually became friends of the MOSLEMS living in Jerusalem.

It was from these Moslems that Hugh and his knights learned what eventually they would use
to create the financial system through out Europe and making them the money lenders to European kings and the Roman Church.

So what did they learn?

First, they learned what I learned in military school in the seventh grade about DEBITS and CREDITS and how you wanted to have MORE CREDITS than DEBITS. Sad to say most Americans have just the OPPOSITE!

Second , they learned how to keep others from knowing how much they possessed using CRYPTOGRAPHY or SECRET CODES. Later this would be used by the Knights Templars to create in SWITZERLAND their secret banking system, which still exist and has spread to other locations like the Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Singapore.

Third, the knights learned what today has become known as TRAVELER'S CHECKS. As you can imagine as more and more Europeans began the pilgrimage to the Holy Lands, something had to be created that let the knights in Jerusalem know these were Europeans, who should be treated as VIPs, as they had prepaid their trip arrangements. So they were given a special token to give to the knights in Jerusalem.

So credit must be given to the Moslems for creating the very banking system we use today. Unfortunately as you know these very same Moslems would become enemies in the HOLY CRUSADES.
